The infamous cane toad, well known for being an "invasive species"... the
Australians depict them as useless creatures that are better left dead. These toads aren't even native. Its ironic that the Australians brought them on the sacred land themselves to deal with the cane beetles that were eating their cane crops! 3 canes! CRAZY!!! Being at stake with these parasite beetles, they thoughtlessly brought in 100 cane toads on the land just to save some crops. Did it do anything? Cane beetles are far off reach for cane toads as they live underground. This did not only do nothing but instead formed a rapid increase of this non-native amphibian.
But I am not here to talk about how much this toad species has
"effected the ecosystem" but more to how these frogs are KING. One of the
factors in the rapid increase of these toads is that they have no predator to
prey on them. Snakes eat frogs, but this is avoided because the toad has
stored poison in their glands. If a predator eat them whole, poisonous
substances will be released when threatened.
Cane toads are the largest population of toads. Making them wipe out most food sources. This proves that they are KING and are on the top of the food chain. Onwards with toad evolution, the king toads have not only walked the earth being a massive threat but have also stepped up their diets. They can eat almost anything. Ranging
from insects and small birds to even reptiles such as lizards and snakes. And
being amphibian means being on both land and water... they will evolve and start eating fish!!! Every single bit of edible protein and plant will be harmful for us which will result into HUMAN EXTINCTION. The cane toads will march on as nothing will be left and dominate the entire world. The earth will be nothing but a brown sphere with
cannibalistic toads. Everything will die and the new servants of god will rise as humanoid toads.
